Formed in 2018 by guitarist Philip Harder, drummer Bela Gbur and guitarist Michael Arenhövel, Apeiro is a modern metal band that blends the crushing intensity of Meshuggah, the dynamic energy of Spiritbox and the atmospheric depth of Sleep Token. Their music fuses dark, brutal heaviness with melancholic melodies, seamlessly merging metalcore elements with a fresh and direct sound.
In 2020 Apeiro released their debut album Nexus introducing their unique approach to heavy music. A major turning point came in 2022 with the arrival of vocalist Laura Schönherr whose presence brought a new and distinct sound to the band adding even more depth and emotion to their sonic landscape.
Now in 2025 Apeiro is set to release their upcoming EP Chroma kicking off with the first single Geist. With a relentless mix of crushing riffs, haunting melodies and powerful vocal performances Apeiro continues to push the boundaries of modern metal.
