Apeshit is a Jangle-punk band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. They make a fun and catchy mix of punk, post-punk, garage and alternative rock that is characterized by energetic riffs, melodic hooks, heavy vocals and a hint of humor. The band has had a big part in the current revival of young punk bands in their city. Together With bands like No Brains, Bowl and Fit they show that the local and national punkscene is thriving with new and exciting bands

After the release of their debute ep “Can I Be Your Monkey?” On plato Utrecht records the band is back with new singles and a new sound. Their songs “Hellraiser”, “I’m still breathing” and “She Don’t Mind” got well recieved by national and international media. Their song “Starcrossed” was part of the punk-compilation album “uitholling bovenlangs” which was made in collaboration with Dutch festival Into The Great Wide open, Excelsior recordings and Plato Utrecht.
