Apex started off by releasing songs on Soundcloud at the beginning of 2017, drawing attention from listeners across the world and quickly amassing a global fanbase. After taking a small hiatus in the studio solidifying his sound, Apex has a tonne of news songs he’ll be unleashing over the next 18 months. Apex infuses his music with a blend of American and UK style/production with a skippy, melodic flow, giving him a distinct sound. Taking influence from the likes of American artists such as Lil Baby and NBA Young Boy, Apex brings something different with his music adding a fresh slant to the UK scene.


Apex uses his everyday life in London to influence his writing, as he explains in the lyrics “never going back to broke, being down made me woke”. ‘Life is Live’ is a melodic banger that showcases Apex’s unique rap style.
