Apollo 18 is a trailblazing South Korean indie rock trio formed in 2008, blending post-rock, post-hardcore, psychedelic, and ambient sounds into a genre-defying sonic experience. Known for their explosive energy and emotional depth, they quickly became icons in Korea’s indie scene.
Their critically acclaimed “Color Trilogy” – [The Red Album], [The Blue Album], and [The Violet Album] – redefined Korean indie music, with [The Blue Album] hailed as a masterpiece. Apollo 18 gained international recognition with performances at SXSW, Fuji Rock Festival, and Pop Montreal, and were named MTV Iggy’s "Artist of the Week."
Though they disbanded after a brief but influential career, Apollo 18’s bold experimentation and genre-spanning artistry left an indelible mark on Korean and global indie music.
