Antonio Apicella is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger. He began studying piano at age six, later discovering a deep passion for the accordion, his main instrument. In 2023, he graduated in Classical Accordion from the Conservatory of Campobasso.

He has collaborated with many Italian and Polish artists, including Magdalena Tull (Eurovision 2011), Bianca Jackowska, Basia Gąsienica, and Ewelina Łukaszyk, composing original songs and performing live.

In 2016, he performed at the Kraków Philharmonic for a charity concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Małopolskie Hospice, and began working with cultural figure Konrad Zemlik.

With the band Sowy, he released Lucciola in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, with Vio.la, he published covers and three Neapolitan originals: Fino all’urdeme juorno, ’O vero ammore, and Chella jurnata ‘e sole.

In 2022, he launched his solo career with Per te (Pino Daniele), arranged for accordion. In 2023, he explored house music with Awakening.

In 2024, he began a new project with bassoonist Sebastian Belotti, releasing refined accordion and bassoon covers. Today, Antonio continues blending tradition and innovation in his musical journey.
