Aqua Rose

With dark, chill, and a very experimental inspired production, paired with catchy hooks, Aqua Rose proves why she stands out from others and is slowly making a name for herself. Riley Kassandra Martin was born on June 4, 1998, raised in what&#39;s known as the Motor City, none other than Detroit, and has known and greatly loved music her entire life. As the story goes, she became inspired by both her mother and Kanye West around age 10, albeit different ways, downloaded FL Studio and made some beats to keep from getting in trouble at school under the pseudonym of DJ Angry. In the artist&#39;s own words, &#34;The beats were trash, but it was definitely a start. I knew nothing about scales or music theory. It just sounded good or at least decent to me, so I went with it.&#34; However, it wasn&#39;t until high school days, that the aspiring young artist decided to actually take music more seriously. She released her first demo of rap songs under the name Ace Century in late 2015, followed by 3 more projects in 2016. She went on to release multiple projects up until 2019, which showed an indefinite hiatus. It wasn&#39;t until nearly 3 years later that she returned with the single No Games under a completely different name as Aqua Rose. She released a few more singles throughout 2023 and quietly released the compilation album “Gemini” in the same year. However, she once again was unhappy with the state of her music, and came back in 2025 with the single <a href="spotify:track:6ocwJQSuPFy7mmRZvFtyGx" data-name="Tired">Tired</a>, proving to finally have found herself.
