AR-777 is an upcoming artist out of Chicago, IL. AR began making music over 10 years ago, beginning as a producer. He credits his mother and aunt with inadvertently cultivating his love for hip-hop by playing tons of rap and R&B around him as a child. A true student of hip-hop, AR is influenced by many artists of the underground. He spends his time fusing some of the sonics he hears in underground music with other genres, as well as using experimental cadences like his “squeak” voice influenced by 645AR and quiet whispering flow inspired by artists like Shawty Lo and Goonew.
