Arabella is the project of New Orleans vocalist/producers Jean Preston and Greg Sorensen. Combining their different musical backgrounds - Jean's pop-folk influence and Greg's funky electronic style of production - they spent most of 2018 and 2019 crafting a unique sound by blending their seemingly disparate influences including The Band Joseph, Chromeo, Imogen Heap, Soulwax, Bon Iver, and Daft Punk. Over the course of a year and a half, they recorded their first album and recently released their debut single titled It's About Time. With their second release and a handful of remixes on the way, their vintage, soul soaked productions are being brought to life.
