Arantza is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from the borderlands of Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas.
Her music blends dream pop and Latin alternative with nostalgic melodies and emotionally rich textures — crafting soundscapes both intimate and expansive.
Rooted in desert mysticism, mineral energy, and a bilingual upbringing, Arantza’s voice has drawn comparisons to Violeta Parra and Natalia Lafourcade, yet she radiates a border-born essence that’s poetic, introspective, and raw.
She debuted as a solo artist with “35 MMulticolor,” produced by acclaimed fronterizo musician Manuel Calderon (Estereomance). In 2021, she collaborated with Berlin-based rapper Alebrujo on the quarantine-inspired track “Amor en Casa.”
In 2024, she joined forces with Argentine producer Baridi Baridi (Jessica Rabanal) for the global EP Sad Beats Around the World, contributing vocals to the downtempo track “The Midnight.”
From 2020 to 2023, Arantza co-founded and fronted the experimental duo Cactus Noir, where she led the lyrical and melodic direction. The project, praised by Pólvora MX as a dream pop act reminiscent of Mint Field, helped shape the ambient aesthetic she now channels in her solo work.
Her upcoming single, releasing July 4, 2025, is an international collaboration exploring longing, distance, and emotional resonance — a sonic offering rooted in cross-border connection and deep creative intuition.
