Arath Herce is a singer-songwriter and producer, originally from Veracruz, who has won the hearts of multi-platinum artists, Latin Grammy winners, and international producers. At the age of eight, he took his first steps in composition, managing to attract the attention of Alejandro Sanz, who called him “a wonderful composer”, but it was years later when he could present his songs to Leonel García, who immediately approached him to Sony Music, with whom he signs his first contract.
His debut album Balboa (2021) is named after the street he grew up in. Filled with personal coming-of-age imagery, Balboa was released the same day as its stripped down companion album, Balboa Naked (2021) recorded live two years later. With these two first releases, Arath Herce promises to be one of the truly great songwriters of this generation.
