Formed by multi-instrumentalist <a href="spotify:artist:6SteS8fBJ46qOy0FRoh7nY" data-name="Albin Ström">Albin Ström</a> back in 2004, <a href="spotify:artist:0SGbP5g7kuXWs9F2ciUU1f" data-name="Arcade Velocity">Arcade Velocity</a> quickly became a limitless outlet for creating music. From the deep forests of Bergslagen to the shores of Gothenburg, the solo project has resulted in multiple full-length albums of eclectic electronica and alternative indie music. In January 2025, Arcade Velocity released the album <a href="spotify:album:1YETAsX8FO2FaRcfNCW5Gi" data-name="Swim Into The Void">Swim Into The Void</a>, a deeper venture into techno, ambient and progressive soundscapes. The melodic and synth-heavy productions are still present but the music has taken a more dynamic direction with the inclusion of live instrumentation and vocals.
As a musician and drummer, Albin has played drums with artists such as shoegaze-indie outfit <a href="spotify:artist:2oMoRZdaRvCngvgAt9xtwb" data-name="KLASS II">KLASS II</a> and 70s classic rock band <a href="spotify:artist:7r2v9I1DSapeU0c2xb0Amk" data-name="Contact">Contact</a>. Albin also produces and writes music with <a href="spotify:artist:4d2q5txmYNN1vym63siLRe" data-name="Sine Wave Square">Sine Wave Square</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6jWoEIxPumgp330V5S7tMH" data-name="SKYBAR">SKYBAR</a>. In 2016, Arcade Velocity collaborated with Frej Stansvik of <a href="spotify:artist:7Fj376OgY372SHaSsP5kXN" data-name="The Romantic Revolution">The Romantic Revolution</a> on vocals and released the songs November Drive and Mino.
