arco don't do fast. Their gentle, sad debut album "coming to terms" came out in 2000, but it took four years for the follow up "restraint" to (just barely) emerge, squinting briefly into the light and hurrying away again. (Earlier EP's and Singles were collected on 2001's "transparency".) Not until 2010 was the third album "yield" released, and that only came out in Korea, annoying their dozens of fans in other territories.
Frontman Chris Healey, never too interested in product or promotion, joked that the next one would probably be in 2020. Not far wrong as it turned out: 2024 arrives and arco - finally - have new music, three EP's waiting to be released. (Feb 2024 also brings more TV exposure - episode 9 of the second season of "Life & Beth" features the track "speak" from "coming to terms".)
