Arctic Plant is a progressive rock project dedicated to the creation of concept albums.
It was founded in 2011 by multi-instrumentalist Philipp Rexilius. By the time, a lot of creative ideas had lead into the composition of what would become the first album - 'The Lake of Time'. Rexilius wanted to make and produce exactly the kind of music he'd like to listen to, having been a lover of symphonic progressive rock for a long time.
On his second album 'The Black Riders', a significant element for Arctic Plant's sound started to develop in the addition of orchestral colours. With this, the foundation of Arctic Plant's characteristic style was made and got further refined on the third album 'A Wandering Mind'.
Over the years, Rexilius grew and developed a lot as a composer, producer and as a musician. Please sit back and enjoy this as journey as much as he does - with many more albums to come!
