Electronic producer and DJ Ardalan spins hypnotic house packed with deep bass and snappy kicks. Born and raised in Tehran, Ardalan moved to the United States, where he developed a love for electronic, beat-driven music ranging from Daft Punk to Portishead. Influenced by the Dirtybird label, he eventually joined the crew after submitting his demos. His first big track -- a collaboration with Justin Martin titled "Mr. Spock" -- arrived in 2010. He continued to work with Martin, releasing "Lezgo" in 2011 and "Wheelgunner" in 2012. As he built his own buzz with live sets, mixes, and dubs, he recorded his first EP, The Yeah/No, in 2014. He followed with the "Function" single the year after, before releasing his second EP in 2016, Thunderdad. ~ Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi
