AREA 404 is a Romanian hip-hop duo, based in Bucharest, blending boom-bap rap with alternative R&B and a pinch of neo-soul, with the sole purpose of staying true to the artistic process in a world ruled by trends. Influences of: A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, Wu-Tang Clan, Nujabes, J. Cole, Jamiroquai, Kendrick Lamar, MF DOOM, Notorious B.I.G., Gorillaz, Sade, D'angelo, Jamie Woon, Lauryn Hill and many others helped AREA 404 shape their unique perspective towards experimenting with multiple genres when making music. Furthermore, they propose a different approach when it comes to art: „Nimic fără eroare!”, which translates to not judging yourself in your process, in other words nothing is achievable without errors.
