With a career deeply rooted in the exploration of electronic music and digital culture, award-winning producer Arietta has been at the forefront of the US drum and bass scene for over a decade. Her musical journey began with classical and jazz training as a multi-instrumentalist and composer, going on to Masters level studies in ethnomusicology. At just 18, she held a club residency in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, becoming a fixture in the Southwest US drum and bass scene.
Arietta's passion for music and innovative sound has garnered recognition throughout the industry. In 2020, she won Hospital Records' Inaugural 'Women in Drum and Bass' DJ Competition and has received coverage in multiple national and international publications for her releases.
Alongside her music career, she previously founded a national artist collective and platform formerly known as ANIMA, demonstrating her commitment to fostering social and political awareness through her projects. Arietta was the host of a weekly, worldwide radio show BASS Movement on dnbradio.com for 4 years and founder of the bass music blog and now event series, BMVNT. With her latest EP, "Coded Dreams Pt. 2," Arietta expands on her signature sound, combining infectious dance grooves with emotive and atmospheric storytelling.
