Arın Aykut

Arın Aykut is a London-based score composer, pianist, and conductor working across film, television, video games, and theatre. As a freelance composer, he works with Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music and Extreme Music, and academically he is pursuing a PhD in Composition for Film & TV at the London College of Music, supported by a Vice-Chancellor’s full scholarship.

His music has been featured in projects worldwide, including Life After Man, an upcoming Australian feature film; the opening theme for Exatlón México Seasons 8 and 9 on Azteca TV; and the short film Tenement, which was featured on MUBI. His string septet piece Homeland was performed at the CovCreative Film Festival in the UK and broadcast on BBC Radio, while his solo piano work Flashing Memories was showcased on BBC Radio’s Introducing Series.

Beyond his work as a score composer, Arın has performed piano at venues such as Würzburg Palace in Germany and was a finalist at The World Pianist Invitational in the United States. As a conductor, he has collaborated with ensembles including the National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra, the Turkish State Polyphonic Choir, and numerous chamber music groups.

With a background in both classical performance and media scoring, he enjoys exploring new ways to connect music with storytelling.
