Arina Faul is a St. Petersburg–based singer, composer and a resident artist of Factory 55 record label. Working at the intersection of jazz, funk, and rock, her music traces an ongoing inner journey — exploring themes of emotional honesty, inner strength, and the courage to search for true purpose.
In just five years, the project has grown into one of the most striking live acts on the modern jazz scene — selling out the Imperial Alexandrinsky Theatre, the leading jazz clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and appearing at major jazz and pop festivals across Russia.
Together with her orchestra, Faul treats music as a living organism, constantly reshaping it through shifting genres, textures, and approaches.
The project started with an almost orchestral lineup. “I grew up in my father’s big band, so the brass section is in my core,” Faul recalls.
Today, Arina Faul can no longer be confined to funk alone. Her vocals cut with bold, unrestrained jazz-rock intensity, yet the material leaves space for restraint, nuance, and quiet focus, where softness carries as much weight as power.
