Sonic siblings on a quest to explore new boundaries of the soul.

Arkaene is an electronic music duo hailing from Ghent, Belgium. Maxime and Christopher, lifelong best friends, have honed their skills in the dj and production field by experimenting with various projects in the past.

The influx of indie-electro and techno, that traveled a way through their early teen years, consistently drew them to the privileged nightlife their home city had to offer. It rapidly created an earnest bond with the vast world of synthesizers and drum machines.

In 2019, they finally rejoined forces in the studio with a steady mission to construct what would blend all aspects of their musical taste. Wielding dark synths and driving drums, crafted for the dancefloor and often leaning towards emotional impact.

Their debut EP, 'Antifon', got already highly acknowledged in the Summer of 2019 when Bedrock honcho John Digweed played 'Pariah' and 'Umar' in his Glastonbury dj-set, propelling Arkaene into various established dj playlists all over the world.

In the course of 2020, the duo released on top-tier labels such as ICONYC and Natura Viva, climbing up the Beatport Melodic House &Techno chart. Their latest EP 'Riven' even reached a top 20 position in the Progressive House category.
