Born on a tiny island on the east coast of Africa, music was something very foreign to me until my family moved to the United States, where my older brother first introduced me to it. I was hooked. Thus beginning an experimental music phase throughout my early teen years. Come high school, I had gotten my first guitar from my love of the blues and rock, and only 6 months later joined a band called AVRA. AVRA is a style all its own, so I decided to start making solo work to vent the musical style that had been locked within me for so long.
