Born in 1981, Bruno Barreto, better known as Arknjo, is a professional DJ, producer, dance teacher and the creator of Zouk Flow. He has been working with it for 20 years. He is also one of those important figures who promoted this kind of dance in Brazil and throughout the world.
As a teacher, he taught Zouk Flow in several congresses and workshops in places such as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Holland, France, China, Russia and Czech Republic.
Beyond that, Arknjo has also been developing an important work through the ZNL group (the vanguard) with many other great producers.
Arknjo became a reference as a DJ and as a teacher too, working in some very important events of Zouk and Lambada in Brazil and around the world. Some of those great events are Dutch Zouk Congress, Prague Zouk Congress, Brazuka Zouk Congress, International Congress of São Paulo, International Congress of Rio de Janeiro, Zouk at HardRock Café, Zouk at Café Del Mar (Copacabana), Zouk at Guapo Loco, Ilha dos Pescadores, Sarrada System (resident), MZouk Experience and others.
As a music producer, he created remixes and originals with Paulo Mac, Mafie Zouker, Kakah, Isac Martins, D’black and Álvaro. Additionally, all this passion for music took him to the desire of developing it for the dance scene, with the purpose of maintaining active partner dances.
