Nothing can come close to being as good a getaway as music is for me. I started playing the guitar when I was 13 and ever since then, it has been those nylon strings that have helped me write my story. During my time at New York University, I immersed myself in a ton of music and worked on finding my voice. My message started to take shape when I began to lose my identity and sense of who I was. I felt like I was watching myself turn into a mere part of a big assembly line. My songs me have helped me make sense of my situation and freed me, and now they are yours. I hope they are as liberating to you as they have been to me.
