Arne Kvarven

<a href="spotify:artist:7zx8o0R1xtTod1wBiUkosv" data-name="Arne Kvarven">Arne Kvarven</a> was born and raised on the west coast of Norway amongst the islands of Bømlo. He studied classical singing with Professor <a href="spotify:artist:4wANHA0kDXPQpbWvcflzjn" data-name="Harald Bjørkøy">Harald Bjørkøy</a> at the Griegacademy. Kvarven have been singing in operas, musicals, and held concert, both in classical and pop genre.
At the age of 27, Kvarven released his first classical full-lenght album <a href="spotify:album:43z0bN1fa1hDMJVd7pVI7y" data-name="Diktarkjærleik - Ei attdikting">Diktarkjærleik - Ei attdikting</a> with the pianist <a href="spotify:artist:4IriAEZYffyn8TxvsQXU55" data-name="Audun Kayser">Audun Kayser</a>. This is an album consisting the famous <a href="spotify:album:0JXw63kpJA0TTyrr1yYHmT" data-name="Dichterliebe">Dichterliebe</a> written by Robert Schumann with lyrics written by Heinrich Heine. The lyrics in this album, is creatively re-written by Kvarven into New Norwegian, written to fit every note that <a href="spotify:artist:2UqjDAXnDxejEyE0CzfUrZ" data-name="Robert Schumann">Robert Schumann</a> wrote. This has never been done before. Kvarven collaborated with the poet Einar Økland, and Professor Emeritus Helge Sandøy on rewriting the texts.
In 2022 the singer released his <a href="spotify:album:2x5Wc8WlrwutGZQTuU0XqL" data-name="Einsamflygar - Ei hyllest til Kenneth Sivertsen">Einsamflygar - Ei hyllest til Kenneth Sivertsen</a>. Here he sang pop and Jazz songs by the Composer <a href="spotify:artist:4fMT0iU4c4kZ9IoVHw06nF" data-name="Kenneth Sivertsen">Kenneth Sivertsen</a> , using the classical acoustic techniques.
