Arsen, vokalde Fatih Erdem Şen, gitarlarda İbrahim Kerem Şen olmak üzere iki kardeş tarafından 2016 yılında kuruldu. Herhangi bir müzik türüne bağlı olmaktan kaçınan Arsen özgünlüklerini ve özgürlüklerini korumak amacıyla rock grubu olarak anılmayı da tercih etmiyor. Arsen kelimesi özgürlük anlamına gelen eski bir sözcük olmasının yanı sıra İbrahim Kerem Şen ve Fatih Erdem Şen’in memleketi olan Trabzon’un Arsin ilçesinin eski adıdır.
Grup, çalışmalarına Ankara’da devam etmekte.

Arsen avoids being associated with any specific music genre and also prefers not to be referred to as a rock band in order to preserve their originality and freedom.
