Artem Kotenko

Artem Kotenko is a 12-year-old singer from Ohtyrka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine. He began singing at the age of 3 and started professional vocal training at 5, launching his musical career. Artem has achieved remarkable success, securing top positions in several national vocal competitions. In 2023, he made it to the longlist of the National Selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, while in 2024, he claimed victory, earning the opportunity to represent Ukraine on the international stage.

Artem has been a devoted fan of the Eurovision Song Contest since he saw it for the first time in 2019; watching it together has become an annual tradition for the Kotenko family. He first attempted to represent Ukraine at Junior Eurovision in 2023, making it to the longlist of potential artists, and despite his disappointment on not being chosen, he was determined to come back and win the national selection. The young singer loves theater, playing piano and dancing. Despite the challenges faced by living in a frontline city, Artem continues to pursue his love for music - sometimes even in a bunker, refusing to let his passion fade.

Beyond singing, Artem is passionate about choreography, playing the piano, and the theatrical arts. He has experience hosting events and has participated in charity projects.
