Hailed both by music critics and fans alike as a musician extraordinaire, Arthur Mountaniol is a prog rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and filmmaker. He started his solo career in Los Angeles in 1998 and became a member of ASCAP. Originally from Moscow, Russia, he’s the founder of the legendary prog rock band The Moon Pierrot (1985-1992).
In 1992, he immigrated to Germany, but in 6 years he moved to the USA, where he became a prolific recording artist with almost 20 albums under his belt so far.
He’s best known for his diverse vocal styles, throat singing, innovative guitar work, visionary music, and award-winning short films and music videos.
In 2018, the musician left America and returned to Russia to play concerts for his fans. He now lives in Moscow and sometimes in Hamburg but plans to come back to Hollywood to make feature films in the near future.
