Artic is an experienced producer who already started experimenting with dance music in the early 90’s. Since 2001 he started concentrating on the Hardstyle sound and started a new project with an old friend (Haze & Abyss). They became Q-Dance Qlubtempo residents and played at all major events more than once. He even played at the famous RED stage at the first edition of Defqon.1 Festival in 2003, Mysteryland etc. Besides performing Erik worked hard in the studio developing his production skills. In 2008 all this hard work paid off when Showtek contracted Haze as the first ‘outsider’ on the famous hardstyle imprint Dutch Master Works. In 2010 Erik decided to fully concentrate on his solo career and to work on the brand Artic to have more creative freedom. He sharpened his sound and gave birth to his more dark and rough edged view on hardstyle music. Now after several top notch quality releases on Dutch Master Works, Hardcopy Records, A2 Records, including his most famous release "F#ck The Fake Shit" , with a remix made by Adaro, Artic has put himself on top of Hardstyle’s mountain.
