Belgium’s 140 frontman ARtroniks has been involved in music production for a good few years now. Having been influenced by various genres, he discovered dubstep along the way and was instantly captivated by its deep and eerie edge.
His upfront percussion drenched in an obscure atmosphere has been encoded on diverse imprints such as DUPLOC, Wheel & Deal, Biscuit Factory, Basskruit and Dungeon Beats to name a few. ARtroniks’ electrifying mid-range, punchy arrangements have always been something that stands out in a mix, yet he does not shy away from gentler and more uplifting shades of bass.
Drawing back from his previous musical journeys, he implements techno-infused and down-tempo concepts to his music - the foundation for his now accredited “techy” sound.
