Aryes

The electric new Norwegian urban pop band, Aryes, has had destiny on their side since birth. The trio were born in the same Trondheim hospital, the same year and the same week in April - hence the name Aryes. Though born under parallel circumstances, it wasn’t until later they were reunited through their music studies, became best friends and embarked on a journey to pop stardom together. This journey has seen them travel, performing around the world together, and now has led them back to Norway for the next chapter.

Now they are out with a new single! "No matter what I wear, no matter where I go, yes means yes and no means no". Feminism is probably the most important motion of our time and a great line of female artists have had focus on freedom and feminism in their songs, just like Aryes. They had wanted to write a modern feministic song to enlighten the issue of rape for a long time. The single "No means no" is a clear message to the community about the importance of freedom to move freely - no matter who you are or how you hold yourself and dress. The song is written in collaboration with the producer duo "SetSail" in Roasting House, Malmö.
