Asa Weeks

Asa Weeks is a dynamic and charismatic first generation rapper, singer-songwriter, emcee, model & actor. Born to his Liberian parents in Silver Spring, Maryland, the story behind Weeks’ family heritage and strong faith are driving factors in his pursuit of greatness.

He was involved in school plays and began writing songs at the age of 15. It wasn’t until the release of his well received Debut EP, “Who Knew” in 2020 that he would solidify a name for himself locally and begin to pursue his career in entertainment intently. His polished sound and wide variety of musical influences makes his work appealing to a wide range of age groups. His noteworthy lyrical and storytelling abilities coupled with production ranging from jazz influenced syncopation to hard 808 sounds provide his listeners with tasteful originality from a creator whose passion is very apparent.

At the young age of 24, he is often referred to as “an old soul.” On and off stage, his infectious personality shines, making him a stand out in any place he is able to share his talents. More recently, Weeks has begun utilizing all of his talents by taking on work emceeing events, modeling for brands and bringing characters to life. His motto, “(don’t let anyone) TAKE YOUR DREAMS!” is a double entendre that serves as a mindset as well as a call to action. Weeks believes it is the responsibility of the individual to, “take your dreams,” which is exactly what he is doing.
