asDeath is an independent artist exploring the edges of sound, self, and silence. Introspective and avant-garde, his work slips between genres and expectations—unfolding slowly, like a question with no answer.

His debut album, Anthropology, is less a collection of songs and more a mirror held up to impermanence. Influenced by the blurred realism of Faces-era Mac Miller and the spectral tones of smokedope2016, it lingers in the space between the seen and the unseen. Humanity: studied and reimagined.

Influenced by the existential musings of Alan Watts, asDeath weaves reflections like, “Trying to define yourself is like trying to bite your own teeth,” into the fabric of his music.

Anthropology isn't just an album—it’s a meditation on impermanence, a celebration of presence, the study of us.

As Watts once said, “The meaning of life is just to be alive... and yet everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves before death.”

For asDeath, music is the sound of being alive. And death—far from an end—is both a closing and a beginning.
