Italian Ambient-Drone composer, and live performer based in Berlin.
Co-founder of the Ambient A/V Berlin event series "Waxing Phases" and the founder of "Farewell", a cultural event presented in its first edition in an old factory in East Berlin in July 2022.
ASERET's compositional process is founded upon research into timbre and emotional resonance. Initially through an experimental approach. The aim is to craft sonic material from a minimalist palette, which then gradually layers and fills the auditory space in a contemplative manner.
This musical exploration is guided by the concept of timelessness, notably characterized by sustained soundscapes that transcend conventional temporal perceptions in music, facilitating a deeper immersion into spatial awareness. Sound is conceived not merely as a temporal progression, but rather as an expansive sonic matter that unfolds in space, inviting listeners to explore new imaginary realms where they may find themselves.
The purpose of his works is to bring back to the foreground the human value of each person, giving him, through music, a chance to identify himself and reconsider his own spaces, in contrast with a world increasingly hectic.
Characterised by contemplative drones as the foundation upon which sound textures, arpeggios, or sequences are delicately layered, ASERET's music utilises synthesisers, pedals, and software to create immersive auditory experiences.
