Ash Lilih – is a Domincan, NYC based singer/songwriter that discovered her talent for composing songs at a very young age.
Her mother encouraged her to go to church, where she was able to developed her voice and quickly learn how to play instruments like the guitar, piano, and drums, mixing chords with her lyrics, the magic of creating music from scratch.
From the moment she could hear, she saw how music seeped into her life. Growing up in a neighborhood in the Dominican Republic where urban music is a daily staple, she encountered dembow, reggaeton, bachata, merengue, the typical music of her country, which made her even more curious about music. Who sings without first listening?
As just a little girl under the care of her older sister, who always listened many types of music genres that were completely new to her, such as heavy metal, rock, rap, and others. She grew up listening to artists like "Canserbero," among others, discovering her passion for Hip Hop and soft sounds and how fun it is to mix opposing sounds. Her key strength is that in her songs, she knows how to reflect the AGGRESSIVENESS and FRAGILITY of women, or the human being in general.
