Asha Ben Davis (born 2006 in Santa Fe, NM) is an emerging American musician and songwriter known for his contributions to the art rock, experimental rock, and indie rock genres. A multi-instrumentalist, he is proficient in guitar, bass, drums, piano, and ukulele.
In 2025, Davis released his first fully studio-recorded and professionally mastered album, A Rush of Planes Taking a similarly experimental and indie folk-alternative route, the album captures a significant creative period just before Davis relocated from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Vancouver, Canada. As his final major project in his hometown, A Rush of Planes stands as both a sonic farewell and a maturation of his artistic voice. The album was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Marc Whitmore and mixed and recorded by the talented musician Zivi whose production added a unique depth to the sound.
Asha has performed at various house shows and art events in Santa Fe, and he also opened for Kj Ward, the bass player from the popular band The Backseat Lovers, adding to his growing list of notable performances. While he is involved in acting and also pursues film and writing, he prefers music as his primary form of artistic expression. As a dedicated artist, he continues to develop his artistry and is gaining recognition in the contemporary music scene.
