Ashiskumar Singh Rampul, known professionally as Ashis Ramphul, is a Mauritian singer-songwriter, record producer and actor. He gained a following in 2022, after releasing his bhojpuri song Ashis Ramphul: Kamariya (2023) which went viral on social media platforms.
Ashis Ramphul started his music career at a very young age performing in private shows with his father. Years later, he became a YouTuber, posting song covers. After progressing his skills, he decided to create original music and videos with the help and support of his family and friends. He has released several singles with videos as a solo artist and his debut EP, Teri Yaad, was released in January 2021. He sings predominantly in Hindi, but has also performed in Bhojpuri and Mauritian Creole.
