Ashland is a band from central Illinois comprised of Asia Wood (vocals), Aaron Wood (guitar), and Zakk Burke (drums). Ashland has consistently released music since their first EP “Interim” in 2015. They signed to InVogue records shortly after their debut album “Wildfire” in 2017.
The same year they signed to Rise Records and released 2 albums, which landed them a spot on the first Sad Summer tour lineup and a song collaboration and subsequent tour with Our Last Night, The Word Alive and I See Stars. They’ve recorded with notable producers Kris Crummett, Matt Squire, Andrew Baylis, Seth Henderson and their late friend Matthew Amelung. During the height of COVID when touring ceased, the band decided to become independent again. Since then, they’ve released a self-titled EP, participated in the Alice Cooper and Evanescence Cooper Tires promotion, and toured with other female fronted bands like Rivals and A Light Divided. They have also released multiple singles with “Shut Down” being their top streamed song next to the viral cover of “Someone You Loved” with Our Last Night. The band just released their latest single “Tragedy of Artists and Lovers” in July of 2024 and have plans to release more music this year and continue touring.
