.ashleigh. is a Singer-Songwriter all the way from the sourthern-eastern suburbs of melbourne. Her keen lyricisms and eye for detail opt to transport you into the world she's created, with lilts of her dark, sarcastic wit thrown in so it doesn't get too depressing.

.ashleigh. has been writing songs since she was fifteen, finding them the perfect expression and made it her goal in life just to get them heard. Now four years later, her debut single 'where my mind goes...' talks about the beginnings and breakdowns of relationships, both friendly and romantic.

"The song in a way reflects the way I view my relationships with people; both friends, family and lovers," she says. "I tend to go for people who aren’t the most communicative, but are still very caring and intelligent people. The song is more about the naivety of those first romantic relationships you have; but also has connotations to the way I used to perceive my relationship with old friends and family. You think you have it working and then things change, the way you interact with each other changes and it ends up falling away unexpectedly."
