Ashton Zyer is a singer and songwriter from Ventura County, California. A self-taught pianist and guitar player, Ashton has developed a songwriting style that is diversified. Often writing in the styles of pop, jazz, singer songwriter, folk, and alternative rock, fans of Ashton know the singles she releases are as eclectic in nature as her music preferences.
After releasing her first album "Silently" its genesis from her former day job working with victims of domestic violence, Ashton drew the attention of Ajay Shah, a music producer, mixer and sound engineer previously with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds of Yab Yum Records, a part of Edmonds Entertainment Group.
Zyer teamed up with producer, songwriter, mixer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and programmer Mike Krompass. Krompass is best known for his work with Meghan Trainor, Natasha Bedingfield, EMI Records, Warner, Nickelodeon, Robbie Nevil, Mutt Lange, Desmond Child, Steven Tyler amongst many others. Krompass and Zyer will release four singles in 2023, the first being the 80’s inspired dance/pop song “Back on top”.
