Ashtray Avenue are a rock band hailing from Brisbane, Australia. The trio came together mid-2023, playing music that varies in style from one song to the next. Inspired by heavily by bands like Green Day, Nirvana, Placebo & Muse and with songs that jumps from ska-punk to grunge to alternative rock and even to some ‘ballady’ type tunes, the A.A. boys like to say that they are a "trash rock” band.
A.A. have two releases under their belts, the most recent being “Bad Luck Symphony”, released on 15th June, 2024. It contains two tracks – the title track, which is the band’s ‘trash rock’ anthem and “For You”, a toned-down yet still- heavy ballad which explores the band’s softer side.
Since playing their first show, Ashtray Avenue have gained a reputation as a band that leaves nothing in the tank and audiences can expect to be active participants whenever they come out to see the ‘trash rockers’ as they make their mark on Brisbane’s music scene & beyond.
