Hailing from London, ASKARI is House and Techno DJ/Producer with melodic inclination. Beginning his journey, like many, as a DJ on the London circuit, his desire for musicality pushed him to venture into the world of production.
Whilst his presence is steadily growing inside of London, ASKARI’s unique sonic signature is continuing to reach new audiences further afield. His performance resume features some of Europe’s finest nightlife destinations, including the likes of Ministry of Sound, Egg London, Fire & Lightbox, South West Four Festival, Itaca Ibiza, Pure Ibiza and Bogen 2, Germany.
A student of London’s esteemed SubBass Academy, ASKARI’s keen willingness to become an integrated part of the industry soon took his hobby and made it his full-time job. An accelerated learning course and repeated positive feedback on his work from Audio Rehab label boss Mark Radford opened the door for ASKARI’s first release, ‘Don’t Be Wasting’, which landed on Audio Rehab in late 2019 - supported by Mark and many of the label’s network of frequent artists/advocates.
With a promising start to life as a full-time artist, ASKARI’s pipeline is ever-increasing with reputable club and festival bookings as well as a growing release schedule to boot. In a time of uncertainty for a lot of the world, one thing is for certain - ASKARI is quietly building in the background and will be ready to hit the ground running at breakneck speed when life returns to normal.
