Aspen grew up on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia, where the waves and wilderness shaped her deep connection to music. Her love for electronic sounds runs so deep that she technically attended her first rave before birth—dancing in the womb as her mom immersed herself in the scene.
Inspired by artists like Bonobo, Jamie xx, Solomun, Claptone, and Gorillaz, Aspen’s sonic journey led her to an even smaller island, where winter populations dropped to just five people. With abundant solitude and time, she began producing music, later honing her craft at an electronic music production school in Vancouver. Drawing from a foundation in techno and house, she has since developed a signature sound that pushes genre boundaries.
Since making her debut in 2018, Aspen has built a strong reputation in the electronic music scene, performing at top festivals like Shambhala, Bass Coast, Rifflandia, Friendzy Fest, FVDED in the Park, Juno Fest, Chasing Summer, and more. Her music has found homes on respected labels including Seeking Blue, Proximity, Heldeep Records, OFDM, Shepard Records, RF, and Westwood Recordings.
