Asphodelia

<a href="spotify:artist:6r9T9XP90gEHC7nhEV97lR" data-name="Asphodelia">Asphodelia</a> is a dark symphonic metal band from Foggia, Italy. Their sound blends symphonic and choral sonorities, electronics and Mediterranean echoes into a solid metal frame with a strongly dark mood. Their lyrics are usually centered on the theme of the afterlife, on the life and death dichotomy, the fleetingness of time and the misery of the human condition.
With the release of their debut album <a href="spotify:album:3w0nIXiAQHhqMzY1VBj9W2" data-name="Welcome Apocalypse">Welcome Apocalypse</a> through Mighty Music in April 2018, the band makes its official entry into the international metal scene, receiving flattering reviews worldwide. The videoclip for their first single <a href="spotify:track:0EHgnRMvmfQLwcUpiXkZFm" data-name="Cassandra">Cassandra</a> was premiered on three international media: Legacy (DE), Sweden Rock (SE) and Metalized (DK).
The release is supported by a European tour and many international festival appearances, which was just the beginning of an intense live schedule. The band took part to the last three editions of the Female Metal Voices Tour, a yearly appointment for all female fronted metal fans in Europe, supporting some of the most renowned acts of the scene (Sirenia, The Agonist, Cellar Darling, Butcher Babies, Kobra And The Lotus, Leaves’ Eyes and others).
The band is currently working on a new studio album and scheduling new tour dates for 2021.
