Astral Paralysis is a Progressive Death Metal band founded in 2016 as "Coexistence".
They quickly gained a moderate following after the release of a single and the "Contact with the Entity" EP, released in 2018 via ETN Records and distributed via Punishment 18 Records.
After many live shows abroad and the performance at Metaldays (2019), the band gets signed with Transcending Obscurity Records to release the first full-length album: "Collateral Dimension", which will be published at the end of 2020.
The album was very well received, making the project stand out in the global Death Metal community. This paved the way towards well-renowned festivals like Metal Royale, and Agglutination, opening for big acts such as Carcass.
Shortly after that, the new album starts to take shape. However, towards the end of 2023, Mirko parts ways with the other members.
Being now only 3 components with new music and a completely new sound, they decide to change their name to "Astral Paralysis", emphasizing the current conceptual and musical ideas.
In mid 2024 Alessio Strano joined the project as Singer and later that year the first single of the band "Dissimilar Failure" was published and well received by the community, right after that Stefano Viola joined the band first as session player for Tolminator 2 (Ex - Metaldays) appearence and then as an official member.
Currently the band is working on a new album blending elements from dissonant death metal to 70's prog rock.
