Astrar is the musical project of Montreal-based musician, composer and producer, Sara Baxter. Blending immersive, frequency-based ambient compositions with electronic beats, Astrar’s music is inspired by Sara’s fundamental belief in the transformative power of music and its innate ability to heal the mind, body and soul. Exploring frequencies that support nervous system regulation and mindfulness, Astrar seeks to create sound that resonates on a somatic level, bringing awareness into the body and the present moment.
