Astro

Astro (Nout Houben) is a Dutch writer, rapper and beatmaker based in Heerlen, The Netherlands. He’s a founding member of hiphopgroup Het VerZet that released their latest album in 2012, named Greatest (S)hits. This album is entirely produced by members Mad & Ntan. Het VerZet was known for oldschool rap cyphers on the streets and outside the venues where they performed at. Later they started to capture these cyphers on camera, wich showed the country and the world what they stood for. Their energy on stage, the cyphers and several musicvideos created the oppertunity for them to perform throughout The Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Astro continued making music at his own pace and released his first solo album Kluizenaar Syndroom on April 3, 2020. His first solo album that consists largely of own beats and rhyms. The titletrack Kluizenaar Syndroom is produced by Sneadr (Heerlen, The Netherlands), Onkruid by SQB (Santiago, Chile) and Banger by Ntan (Heerlen, The Netherlands).
Verzetmembers Dookie, BlabberMouf, Ntan, dOOp and bloud brother EllMatic participate on the album with their own developed style of rhyming.
