Hailing from the town of Oss in the Netherlands, and known for calling themselves the "Wizards of Oss," Astrosoniq are a stoner/psychedelic/electronic/space rock outfit whose every album cover curiously portrays some semblance of hairs growing out of skin, whether from a distance or from a microscopic perspective. These albums began emerging with 2000's Son of A.P. Lady, and came to include 2002's Soundgrenade, 2005's Made in Oss EP, 2006's Speeder People, and 2009's Quadrant -- the last of which featured Fred van Bergen (vocals), Ron van Herpen (lead guitar), Teun van der Velden (keyboards and rhythm guitar), Robert-Jan Gruijthuijzen (bass and vocals), and Marcel van de Vondervoort (drums). ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
