at par exists as an exploration in both subtle ambience & the deepest depths of distortion, rhythm and experimentation.

Based in Los Angeles, at par is the project of electronic musician and sound artist Kaj Burns. Creating genre-spanning lush textures, his music lives comfortably within the spaces of ambient, glitch, bass, and industrial, often incorporating samples, dense layers, aggressive dynamic shifts and other elements of deconstructed club. The project began in 2007 and has evolved through name changes and stylistic shifts, beginning as a creative outlet after years in bands and studying rhythm and musical composition academically. “A.D. No Art” is the first at par full-length album and is the project’s most cohesive and realized work to date.
