Ataia has been singing and writing since she could walk. Splitting her time as a child between New York and Maryland, she soon relocated to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 16 for the chance to fully pursue her music career. At a young age she began her journey “free styling” in rap battles. To this day she still taps into that method to begin her creating process. Through a capturing story of survival she pulls listeners in with her soothing energy and honest lyrics. A combination of Soul, R&B, Rock & Pop all wrapped up in one - her soft yet capturing tone gives you a glimpse into her inner thoughts and experiences of life, loss, love, joy, and struggle through her work.
