a Contemporary Doom Metal duo from Badung, Bali, was formed in 2020 by Dimas (Guitar/Vocals) and Andika (Drums) with a heavy guitar sound and slow-paced, haunting drum beats.
Fuelled by SLEEP, COUGH, SUMAC, THOU and PRIMITIVE MAN,
Athman managed to find their character in creating material.
In early December 2023, Athman joined Skullism Records to release an EP Album, and on June 25, 2024, Athman released their first single entitled "Firmament" under Skullism Records. "Firmament" itself is a portal bridge before heading to the first EP Album which will be completed this year.
Carrying a theme taken from the earth's impenetrable dome layer, "Firmament" is depicted with the ultimate dimension, played with thunderous dense guitar riffs, and incorporates several 'breaking' parts as if pointing the route to "Firmament".
