Athon was born in Varese, Italy, in 2014, when Ame (guit/vox) and Caste (guit/vox) met Giona (drums). Their common passion for heavy music, such as sludge, stoner, and doom brought them cover many songs from Mastodon, Black Tusk, Baroness, Red Fang and Sleep, as a start.
In 2017 the project is complete when Manu (bass / vocals) joins in. After some live experience together they decide to focus on composing their own music, combining their individual ideas and influences, in order to give birth to a personal sound... The one that represents them best...
Their first studio work is made up by 5 songs, and each one of them honors the essence of the band... Its voice...
